Metro Grand Masters Men's Basketball League 2009 - 2010
Players must be 45 before March 31, 2010. (Players younger than 45 who played in the league prior to Mar 31, 2009 are welcome to return). Our emphasis is fun; no player totals are kept, tie games are hoped for (but no overtime as this is a perfect! game) and there are no playoffs or other awards. Games start on the hour, there are no foul shots (if you were fouled, we play on as if everyone is a 100% foul shooter!) and substitutions are done on the fly (please slap hands).
Games will be played every Sunday Night at Dalhousie's Studley Gym between 3 pm and 10 pm with games starting on the hour. The season will start October 18, 2009 and will finish March 21, 2010.
If you would like to become a league member, new members are accepted on a waiting list basis - first come, first served. Please use this form or send an email to me or call me at 423-6161 (leave a message) with your height, weight, year of birth, mail address, email address, home and work phone numbers and a general statement about your playing ability. Players are added to the league when others leave for varied reasons. Players are added first from returning players and second from new players in order of day they applied.
The Draft took place Sep 21, 2009 and teams and schedule are now posted on the website.
